The Suppression Providers Alliance (SPA) – protecting against data mis-licensing and misreporting
The Background
The Suppression Providers Alliance comprises Royal Mail, Equifax, Acxiom, The DMA and Millenium. They use DQM Group’s audit team to ensure licensees are fully compliant with their terms and conditions and are returning the correct royalty payments.
How DQM Group helps..
DQM Group manages the audit programme, booking the audits and briefing licensees on the approach. Individual reports and summarised issues and recommendations are reporting back to the Alliance.

The result
A number of Alliance members have been able to recover significant under payments in royalties. In addition the Alliance has been able to identify areas of process where education from members was required and where best practice could benefit all stakeholders.
